Rose Campbell, CNP was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She attended Malone College from 1992 to 1996 where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing. She then went on to get her Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing in 2006 where she graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau lntemational Honor Society of Nursing.
She has worked with Dr. Michael Markel since 2000 in the electrophysiology department. She did work as a pacemaker and defibrillator RN for several years prior to getting her nurse practitioner’s degree and is very experienced in the electrophysiology field. Rose Campbell is a certified nurse practitioner in the State of Ohio and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has worked in the cardiology field specializing in electrophysiology since 1999 when she worked in the hospital on the telemetry floor.
She then took a position with Ohio Heart Care where she started working with Dr. Markel as a rounding nurse and then went on to learn how to evaluate and treat patients with pacemakers and for defibrillators. She then followed Dr. Markel to Stark Medical Specialties in 2005 and has been here since. After graduation in 2006 Rose has been working with electrophysiology patients exclusively and does follow patients along with Dr. Markel at all three area hopsitals, Aultman, Mercy and Affinity
